2.      Energy Work You Can Use Now --  Putting It All Together
 

In the first issue of this newsletter (4/5/99) I gave you a powerful
mini-process I created for quickly releasing emotional issues.  In the second
issue (4/19/99) I gave you another powerful exercise (this one from a
colleague) for turbocharging affirmations. 

For those of you who are new to this newsletter (or who no longer have those first two issues), I am copying the two processes referred to above, at the very end of this newsletter.

What I am going to suggest now is that for any issue that you are working on, you use BOTH the “mini-release process” AND the “affirmation process” in tandem. And that you use them in that order.

For example, if you are doing work around an issue of self-worth, self-esteem,or self-confidence I suggest you first use the “mini-release process” I gave you, for letting go of feelings of non-deserving,  fears of success/failure, and/or any feeling of doubt about your value or abilities. 

Once you have cleared each of these, using the mini-process, you will have
created an empty space, energetically, which is the absolute best time to
install an affirmation. 

So using the above example of self-worth, this would be the perfect time to
then use the “affirmation process”.  A suggested affirmation might be “I
deserve the very best in life, right now”  or for self-confidence “I am totally
confident and secure in every situation”. 

Why not try this dynamic duo of “releasing negative emotions” and then
“installing positive affirmations” in every area of your life.   Let me know

5.  Upcoming Teleclasses  (starting this week!!!)

Thursdays,  May 6th, 13th and 20th, 9:00 PM EST.

EMOTIONAL FREEDOM & HEALING Teleclass Series 

These three powerful guided sessions will focus on areas such as allowing
abundance and prosperity in your life, healing your relationships with loved
ones and others, eliminating any unwanted beliefs that prevent you from
becoming a full expression of who you are.  Bring your personal issue(s) to the call and there will be no need to share them with the group in order to resolve them.

This is a revolutionary approach to transforming and eliminating negative
emotions that prevent you from living life to the fullest. This is a pilot
program so tuition is only $49. (I expect this to increase to $99. in the near

6.  A Custom Emotional Freedom Tele-workshop For Your Group???

Recently I have begun doing customized tele-workshops for special interest
groups and organizations.  For instance, during the next three months I will be doing a number of private tele-workshops for a sales training organization that specializes in training for MLM folks.  My workshop will address eliminating fears and phobias (such as public speaking, prospecting, self-confidence, etc) that are common blocks to success in the MLM field.

Energy Processes From First Two Newsletters:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 
The following is a mini-process I developed that is so easy to do it may take
your using it a few times before you fully realize the power of it.    It can
be done virtually anywhere, at any time, and it takes less than one minute to
do.

It is perfect for quickly releasing any unwanted strong emotion like fear,
anger, or sadness.  And it is equally effective for releasing a sudden
addictive urge like smoking, alcohol, or food cravings. 

Here it is: 

Step 1-  Begin by focusing on the issue, feeling, or urge.  Fully feel it. 

Step 2-  While you are feeling the issue place one or two fingers of one hand
on the forehead in the area of the third eye (between the two eyes and about an inch or so higher than eye level).  Then place one or two fingers of the
opposite hand on the chin (in the crease of the chin, which is about halfway
between the bottom lip and the point of the chin). Use moderate pressure on
each of these two points, but not enough to cause discomfort. 

Step 3-  So now you have one hand touching the third eye and the other hand touching the chin.  While holding these points, continue to focus on the issue, feeling, or urge and slowly take five full breaths. On each in-breath repeat the words “I am calm” and on each out-breath repeat the words “I release this………….(fear, emotion, issue, urge, etc.)”. 

Step 4-  After taking the five breaths tune in to the issue again and you will
find that the emotional charge (or urge) is either greatly diminished
or…….gone!    Quite amazing actually.  And if you find that most of the charge is gone, though not all of it, simply spend one more minute (smile) and do the process again. 

While I’m not suggesting that this process will eliminate the core issue that
is causing the problem (a few sessions of Emotional Freedom Therapy will
usually do that), it will quickly release the hold that issue has over you at
that moment.   Try it.   Be creative and experiment with it on many things
(even body discomforts like headaches, pains, etc.).  And please let me know how it works for you.  I would love to hear about how you used it and what happened.

Here's Some Energy Work You Can Use To Turbocharge Your Own Affirmations 

The following was sent to me by Energy Worker and fellow Coach, from London, England, Diana Keel, and I have been using it this past week with excellent results. 

"Please add the following technique to any affirmations you are currently
"doing": to strengthen the power of your affirmations, use a simple tapping
procedure. 

1.  Find the little knob at the center of the back of your head, where the
skull meets the top of the neck (in some people it is barely discernible - 
someone else may be able to find yours more easily for you; if not, try to find it on someone else and then you might find it more easily on yourself). 

2. Using two fingers, tap steadily and firmly but lightly on this knob, as you
repeat your affirmations 9 times, or until you take a deep breath or yawn
(sighing or yawning often signifies changing levels), whichever takes longer."

Note from RR: The sighing or yawning is a clear indication that something has shifted or something has been released.

"This tapping procedure can be enormously effective.  The tapping sends a
steady message, a pulsing beat, into your nervous system and into your habit
field. With deeply entrenched habits, allow at least 30 days before results
become evident. Even if you are skeptical, judge for yourself based on the
results you attain.  Also consult with friends and loved ones after about a
month because quite often we do not recognize changes when they happen
effortlessly!"

Note from RR: The last statement is excellent advice after any kind or energy work or transformational therapy.  This is especially true with Emotional Freedom Therapy. Although the work is powerful, it can sometimes be so subtle that we don't recognize that we have changed. I've had clients whom, once the work was completed, have totally "forgotten" the severity of the original issue they brought to the session.
